Auli is a hill station located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand state in India. It has rightly derived its name Auli - meaning meadows, from the characteristics of its topography. The hill station is located on slopes and has far stretching meadows that look stunning to the eyes. Auli is fondly referred to as a place where nature comes alive in all its glory and splendour. It is rich in natural resources and offers a stunning landscape of the surrounding hills.

The hill station has a plenty of wildflowers and trees like deodars, oaks and pine forests. The slopes here that are as high as 9000 feet above sea level offer stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks; like that of Nanda Devi, Kamet, Dunagiri and Mana Parvat. There are a number of attractions here at the hill station. The most famous one amongst tourists is the ropeway.

It is the highest and the longest one not just in India but the whole of Asia and it offers magnificent views of the Himalayan peaks. Auli’s artificial lake is another attraction which is one of the world’s highest man-made lakes. Similarly, Chattrakund and Chenab lake are also two other lakes worth visiting in Auli. Auli is also known as the skiing capital of India which explains how well the activity can truly be enjoyed here.

The winter months offer this thrilling experience and invite tourist from across the globe. Other activities in Auli include trekking to nearby hills like Gorson Bugyal. There is also a great scope for camping in and around Auli. The hill station being located on a slope is high in altitude but is also surrounded by dense forest of deodars and oaks. This controls the pace of the wind blowing here and thus, giving Auli a pleasant environment.

Start/End Point - Joshimath bus stand

 

  • Day 1 - Arrival at Joshimath

On arrival at Joshimath bus stand, our local representative will provide you a transfer to the hotel.

Freshen up and post breakfast, start for half day sightseeing.

Visit the Auli Ropeway, starting from Joshimath and ending in Auli, which offers a majestic view of the Himalayan Ranges.

Return back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Hotel

  • Day 2 - Gorson Bugyal Trek

After breakfast, be prepared for an amazing and one of the thrilling treks of Auli.

Start your 3 km long trek from Auli to Gorson Bugyal.

The majestic view of the Himalayan ranges will make you spellbound. This trek is one of the most beautiful parts of this Auli Package from Delhi.

Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

  • Day 3 - End of the trip

After having an early breakfast, check-out from the hotel

If time permits, visit Narsingh temple in Joshimath.

Get transfer to Joshimath bus stand as per your departure timings.

About safety and hygiene:

- The camps and hotel the entire stay is deep cleaned before every check-in and post every check-out.

- There are antibacterial hand sanitisers available throughout the property.

- Social distancing is maintained.

- The campsite and hotel has increased the frequency of cleaning public areas (including the lobby, doorknobs, common washrooms, etc.)

- Daily temperature monitoring of the staff.

- Hand gloves being used when carrying out cleaning work and when handling waste.

About accessibility:

Once you book the package, the campsite or Hotel location will be shared to you along with a Vedas Voucher.

You can reach the location by your own vehicle or hiring a private vehicle from Vedas itself.

Advisory:​

  • The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.

  • The exact location will be shared once the booking is confirmed.

  • Guidelines issued by the State-Government is to be followed.

  • Social distancing to be maintained.

  • Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.

Cancellation Policy:

  • If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made 07-14 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made within 0-6 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.

  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

 Refund Policy:

  • The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 working days

  • All applicable refunds will be done as per traveller's mode of payment .

Booking Confirmation Policy:

  • The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking payment made in favour of Vedas Tours.
