Mukteshwar is a village and tourist destination in the Nainital District Of Uttarakhand, India. It sits high in the Kumaon Hills at an altitude of 2171 meters (7500 feet), 51 km from Nainital 72 km from Haldwani and 343 km from Delhi.

What adds to the grace of this place is the sacred Hindu temple located on top of the hill from which the town has got its name. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Mukteshwar Dham temple is the main attraction in this hill station in Kumaon Region of Uttarakhand.

How To Reach There :

Mukteshwar is well connected with major travel destinations of Uttarakhand. Buses are available from Delhi to Kathgodam/Haldwani and Mussoorie and taxis are easily accessible from Garhwal and Kumaon region. Kathgodam is the nearest railhead to Mukteshwar, situated 64 km away. One can hire a cab from the railway station to reach Mukteshwar. Pantnagar Airport situated 98 km away, is the nearest airport to Mukteshwar. Taxis are available from the airport to Mukteshwar.

Mukteshwar famously know for its breezy waterfalls houses some famous waterfallas such as The Bhalu Ghaad, Tarikhet waterfalls, Rudradhari waterfall and The Dhokaney waterfall. Another tourist attraction is the small Satoli Village, situated just 21 km from Mukteshwar  One can also visit the Indian Veterinary Research Institute(IVRI). Mukteshwar is the abode of a saint — Shri Mukteshwar Maharaj ji — who lived at the Top Cottage Temple where his samadhi is. One of his disciples, Swami Sanshudhanand Ji, now stays there.

  • The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.

  • The exact location will be shared once the booking is confirmed.

  • Guidelines issued by the State-Government is to be followed.

Cancellation Policy:

  • If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made 07-14 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made within 0-6 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.

  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

 Refund Policy:

  • The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 working days

  • All applicable refunds will be done as per traveller's mode of payment .

Booking Confirmation Policy:

  • The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking payment made in favour of Vedas Tours.
