HARIDWAR

According to Hindu mythology, Haridwar marks the site where devas left their footprints. It is thus, counted among the most sacred cities in the country. Literally meaning 'Gateway to God', Haridwar is located on the banks of the Ganga River in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Legends say that Prince Bhagirath, the great-grandson of King Sagar, did his penance here during Satya Yuga to save the souls of his ancestors, who were cursed to death by saint Kapil.

In answer to his prayers, the Ganga River descended from Lord Shiva's hair to give salvation to the Suryavanshis.

The story of Samudra Manthan reveals that Haridwar is one of the four areas where the drops of Amrit were accidentally spilled by Garuda. A sacred Kumbh Mela is celebrated here after every 12 years for the congregation of millions of pilgrims, who come to take a dip in the holy river. Har ki Pauri, meaning 'footsteps of the Lord', is considered to be the holiest bathing place in the city as it marks the site of Brahma Kund, the place where drops of Amrit fell.

 

RAJAJI NATIONAL PARK

Rajaji National Park is both a national park as well as a tiger reserve which ranks high amongst the Places to see in Haridwar. The park was created by the amalgamation of 3 sanctuaries- Rajaji, Motichur and Chilla. The park is located in the Shivalik range of Himalayas and spreads over 820kms.

RISHIKESH

The scenic beauty of Rishikesh is due to its location at the foothills of the lofty Garhwal Himalayas is accentuated by the mighty Ganges cutting right through the city. The picturesque city looks suspended between the stunning riverside promenades, acres of forests, lush mountains, and clear blue skies lending it a surreal appearance.

Beatles Ashram Formerly known as Chaurasi Kutia, Beatles Ashram happens to be a popular ashram located at Rishikesh in Uttarakhand. The place received a lot of hype and achieved wide recognition after the Beatles band of Liverpool came to stay there in the year 1968. 

The city is synonymous with its grand temples, rituals, architectural marvels and yoga ashrams. Every temple here, be it the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, Raghunath Temple, or the 13-storey Trimbakeshwar Temple, has its own beautiful legend that attracts people from all over the world. The twin Ram & Lakshman Jhulas are outstanding architectural feats in themselves. These suspension bridges span for over 750 ft. over the Ganges. There are numerous ashrams here that lead people into the spiritual world of ancient forms of yoga, meditation to cleanse their soul and de-stress your body.

PROGRAM :-

Once you arrive at the hotel, you will be greeted by a Welcome drink. After some briefing by the hotel staff, lunch will be served. Take some rest here to boost your energy level high and head for various activities like riverside trails, trekking, cliff jumping. In the evening on returning to the hotel enjoy a crackling bonfire (only in Winter Season)with a healthy meal. Explore the flora and fauna with a guided nature walk early morning, and head out for your thrilling river rafting adventure!

Rafting Stretches:
Brahampuri To Ram Jhula - (8 - 10 Kms)
This Rafting package contains moderate level of ride through the grade 2 Rapids. This is the easiest and shortest one of all and is meant for beginners. People ranging from the age group of 7 to 45 can avail this rafting stretch which makes it a perfect option for a family. You can also enjoy body surfing in this stretch. 
Shivpuri to Rishikesh - (16 Kms) 
Located in Shivpuri this 16 km stretch includes some of the most thrilling grade 2 rapids in Rishikesh which makes it the most popular rafting option among the travellers, The body surfing on this option makes it an extra fun.

You can reach the location by your own vehicle or hiring a private vehicle from Vedas itself.

• Rafting is not provided to children below 14 years.

• The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.

• The exact location will be shared once the booking is confirmed.

Cancellation Policy:

• If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellations are made 07-14 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellations are made within 0-6 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.

• Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.
